Heman M. Mygatt, “Milt” passed away on Monday, May 18, 2009 at Flower Hospital at the age of 79. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on March 15, 1930 to the late Heman and Gertrude (Cassidy) Mygatt. In 1955 he married Marisue Wharton in Toledo, Ohio. Milt was a graduate of Libbey High School in 1948 and in 1953 he graduated from The Ohio State University. He then served in the United States Army for two years. Milt became a local news man and worked at WNWO Channel 24 in the production department from 1973-2004. Milt is survived by his wife, Marisue Mygatt; son, James (Dawn) Mygatt; and three grandchildren, Dawson and Makayla Mygatt and Jacob Russell. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gerald Mygatt. A memorial gather will be held at St. Clements parish hall, 3030 Tremainsville Rd., on Saturday, May 23, 2009 from 1-4pm.
