Helen L. Yoast

Helen L. Yoast (Smith) 76 of Bowling Green. She passed away from  natural causes Oct. 28, 2020 at Bowling Green Manor Nursing Home in Bowling Green Ohio. She was a Christian for 45 years and was Baptised in 1976. Helen read her Bible daily and studied a lot, she was a very good Christian lady. Helen worked at the Wood County Courthouse and Eastwood Schools as a custodian for many years and also worked at ASP in B.G. She was born on March 18, 1944 in Marion, Indiana to Rolla Francis & Bonnie Oudbon ( Boots ) Smith. Helen married Donald Clyde Yoast Sr  November 1964 in Monroe, Michigan. They later divorced in Oct of 1975. She is survived by two daughters Patricia (Matthew) Petrey of Rudolph & Dawn Daman of Bowling Green and one son Donald Clyde Yoast Jr of Bowling Green. Three brothers Otto (Rose) Smith of Columbus, Raleigh (Kathy) Smith of Northwood, Asher Smith of Indiana, and one half sister Barbra (Jerry) Qumiby of Illinois, one sister-in-law Patricia Emerick of Rudolph. Helen has 13 Grandkids, 42 Great Grandkids. She was preceded in death by her parents, Brother Clyde E. Smith Sr. Two half brothers Earl and Charles Chaney, her half sister Elizabeth Hammons, Son-in-law Daniel Lee Daman Sr. Two Grandchildren Mariah Yoast & Daniel L. Daman Jr. Memorials may be made to the family. There will be a “Celebration Of Life” held by the family on Nov. 8th 2020 at Rudolph Civic Center at 2pm LOCATION: 10109 Rudolph Road  Rudolph, Ohio 43462
