Heather Lynn Farthing

Heather Lynn Farthing, aged 61, passed away May 23, 2026 in Waterville, Ohio. She was born March 19, 1965 in Columbus, Ohio to John David Farthing and Vickie Sue Williams.

Heather lived in Ohio most of her life and went to Columbus State for nursing and lived her life serving others in their medical time of need for over 20 years. During that time she became a mother to her one and only child, a daughter which she shared her love of crafting and being your true and authentic self.

After leaving the medical field, Heather spent her life living for the things and people she loved. Making yarn projects for those around her and for all her friends and the staff at Ayden nursing home where she spent the last of her days surrounded by those who cared for her the most.

She is survived by her daughter Sarah, who walked beside her until she couldn't anymore.
