Harriett L. Shimel

Harriett L. Shimel (Campbell), age 77, passed away Thursday, December 16, 2021. She was born November 18, 1944. She was the daughter of Glen and Lydia (Reed) Campbell. She married Emery Shimel September 24, 1965, he precedes her in death. Harriett was a loving mother and grandmother. She had many children both biological and not. Harriett was a very caring, loving person who would do what she could to provide for any child in need. She loved to watch Disney movies – all of the grand kids and great grandkids loved this about her. She loved all holidays, but Christmas was her favorite. She is survived by five daughters; five sons; two brothers; three sisters; twenty-two grandchildren; and thirty great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson; two brothers; and four sisters. A Celebration of life will be held in the New Year.
