Harriet L. Beck

Beck Harriet L., age 64 of Toledo went home to be with our Lord in Heaven on Saturday September 30th at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She passed peacefully surrounded by her family. Harriet was born on October 23, 1958 in Toledo, Ohio. Harriet had a compassionate heart that showed greatly in her work as a child care teacher at Bible Temple Daycare. She had a love for children and never turned down an opportunity to help families in need by providing child care in her home in the evenings after working at her daycare job. She had a passion for giving and made numerous donations to several ministries throughout the years. She enjoyed scrapbooking, taking pictures, playing Yahtzee and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.

Harriet is preceded in death by her beloved husband Danny Beck, parents: John and Geraldine (Wright) Keirns, sister: Connie Fields. She is survived by her children: Amber Beck, Danielle (Dan) Nonnenmacher, and Brandon (Amber L.) Beck; her 12 cherished grandchildren: Izayah, Devin, Arianna, Kiera, Cheyenne, Brayden, Aubrey, Adyson, Alyvia, Bellamy, Chelsea and Dominic; and siblings: Susan Ellenburg, Edward (Belinda) Keirns, Robin (Mark) Clark, Mary (Rick) Frybarger, John Jr. (Patricia) Keirns and Lillie (Chris) Frybarger.

Surrounded by her family and friends, Harriet spent her last days here in this world the same way she lived in it - with positivity, laughter, and a caring heart for others. She was known as “Nana” and “Nana the Meek” by her grandchildren and “Hairness” by her beloved husband.
