Gwyonder Perryman, aka Gwen, was born February 23, 1947 to the union of Dakota Polk and Mildred Avery in Guys, Tennessee. She was called home to be with her heavenly father on March 12, 2026.
Gwen was a 1965 graduate of Jesup W. Scott High School in Toledo, Ohio. Prior to returning to Toledo, she resided in Reno, Navada for many years. Gwen was a loving mother and housewife and had a great love for jazz and rhythm and blues music.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donnell Perryman; mother, Mildred Pope-Waterman; brothers, Lawrence and Keith Polk; nephews, Keith Huffman and Keith Polk, Jr and great nephew, Keith Hoffman Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Jason A, Tyson T.; nieces, Lucretia Rhodes of Jacksonville, Florida and Clemisha Wilson of Toledo and special cousin, Lesly Mickens.
Gwen will be greatly missed.
