Gwin “Glen” Gerald Price, age 83, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025, at the Toledo ProMedica Hospital.
He was born on December 1, 1941, in Monroe, Michigan. Glen was the son of Horace and Gloria (Vernier) Price.
Glen attended Bedford High School and graduated in 1960. He served in the United States Marine Corps as a Sergeant from 1966 to 1972, when he was medically discharged. Glen received the Purple Heart Medal and two Bronze Stars amongst many other commendations for his service. Glen worked at Dana Corp. and Zieler’s Excavating before starting his own successful business, Glen Price Sewer & Excavating, from 1972 until 2012 when he retired.
Glen was an avid hunter and loved the outdoors. He was a lifetime member and former president of the Ottawa Lake Sportsmen’s Club.
Glen is survived by his loving wife, Fhonda Price, of 49 years; sons, Sean (Bobbie Jo) Price, Kenneth (Isabel) Woodard; sister, Sandra (Don) Rice; grandchildren, Teigan and Lauren Price, Serena, Isaac, and Victoria Woodard; great grandchildren, Gray Okdie and Rosie Borton. He was preceded in death by his father, Horace; Mother, Gloria; and brother, David Price.
Glen will be cremated, and a memorial will be held at the Ottawa Lake Sportsmen’s Club 9480 Memorial Hwy., Ottawa Lake, MI for friends and family on Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 1-5 pm.
