Gregory S. Simmons

Gregory S. Simmons, age 59, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at his home. Greg was born on March 3, 1963 to the late James Simmons, Jr. and Idella Riley Simmons. Greg was a graduate of Central Catholic High School, attended Kent State University and later served in the United States Army. Upon leaving the Army, Greg worked for the United States Postal Service, retiring in 2003 due to illness. Greg leaves to mourn his passing & to remember his life, mother, Idella (Clois) Smith, daughter Kaci N. Simmons, sisters Jamie J. Allen and Fela C. Riley, Sister in love, Candace(Ron) Harrison, Brothers in love Malcolm (Carla) Riley, Christopher (Suzanne) Smith, niece Jordan J. Allen, aunts Geraldine Perry, Marilyn Riley, Martha Simmons and Semolia Gaston, uncle Michael Richardson and a whole hosts of cousins and friends. A memorial will be held Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at 3:00 pm. at the Sullivan Center, 2049 Parkside Blvd., Toledo, Ohio.
