Gregory James Fell of Sylvania, OH, passed from this life on October 13, 2025. He was born May 25, 1946 to the late Rolland E. and Velma L. (Atz) Fell in Toledo, OH. He was an Eagle Scout and a 1964 graduate of Toledo St. Francis de Sales High School. He served his country aboard United States Navy submarines from 1966 until 1969, when he received a disability retirement. He earned the designation of “Qualified in Submarines”. After the Navy he lived in FL, CT, and MA. In 1980 Greg returned to Toledo to be with his father, who was battling prostate cancer. He also did volunteer work in the Common Space office for many years. This is where he met his future wife, Amy.
His marriage to Amy L. Siewert on June 25, 1994 was the best thing that ever happened to him. They were inseparable. They travelled extensively, by air, van, motorhome and cruise ships. He loved working with her in support of her creative projects. He was preceded in death by his father and mother; super brother, Terry Fell; and sister, Diane Neptune.
Surviving to celebrate his life are three wonderful sisters, Sharon Peoples, Marcia (Greg) Obarski, and Vicky Gedeon; in-laws, Duane (Paula) Siewert; and many nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.
A Celebration of Life service will take place on Friday, November 7th, at 11am at the Moose Lodge in Sylvania, located at 6072 Main St., Sylvania, OH.
