Gregory “Greg” Blaine Cousino Jr., age 44, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, September 1, 2022 at home. Greg was born on December 30, 1977 in Toledo, Ohio to Gregory Cousino Sr. and Linda Cousino-Baldwin. He met the love of his life, Linda Barto, in 1999 through a mutual friend and had spent every day together since.
Greg attended Southview High School and shortly after went right into the construction field with his uncle, Willie Cousino. He loved all things hunting and fishing with his Grandpa Bob, who frequently called him his “bouncing baby boy” or “baby Greg”. This past year Greg started learning how to play guitar, following in his grandpa’s footsteps. He started camping as a child and enjoyed it even more as an adult. Greg religiously rooted for the Cleveland Browns and wouldn’t miss Nascar, especially if Dale Earnhart Jr. was racing.
He is survived by his life partner, Linda Barto and their 3 fur-babies, Queenie, Bandit and Champ; parents, Gregory “Greg” (Sherry) Sr. and Linda Cousino-Baldwin; two beautiful children, son, Brett and daughter, Taylor; 3 step-sons, Kevin (Chelsea) Barto, Chucky (Erika) Barto and Justin (Jacqueline) Barto; sisters, Jamie Beach, Penny (Jeff) Brough and Jamie Cousino; Brothers, Jason Cousino, Dave McMillen, Tony McMillen, David (Kelli) Barto, Steven (Billie) Fall and Shawn Rittenouer; nieces, great-nieces, nephews, great-nephews and cousins. He was a proud “Papa Greg” to 12 grandchildren, whom he loved dearly.
He was preceded in death by his Grandma and Grandpa Cousino; Uncles, Doug and Willie; Father-in-Law Dave Barto Sr.; Cousin Jeremy and Grand-daughter Alecia.
There will be a celebration of life for Greg in the upcoming weeks.
