Glenn Mussard

Glenn Everett Mussard, 88, passed away Friday, May 6, 2016 with family members present to comfort him at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, in Toledo, Ohio. He was born on April 14, 1928 in Strongsville, Ohio to Joseph Mussard and Grace (Knight) Mussard. Glenn married Katherine Jane (King) Mussard, (the marriage indeed in divorce) but together they had three children, Glenn Jr., Celia and Amy. Glenn spent most of his adult life in the greater Detroit, Michigan area, where he worked as a draftsman in the automotive industry at Kelsey Hayes Co., and was particularly instrumental in the early designs of disc brakes and anti-lock brake systems. Glenn is survived by his son, Glenn (Elena) Mussard of Lima, Peru, and daughters Celia Jane of Rudolph, Ohio and Amy Mussard of Pasadena, California. He was predeceased by his life partner of nearly 40 years, Lorraine Maronen, in August, 2015. Funeral services will be privately held.
