Glen O. Degelnor

Glen Oliver DeGelnor of Maumee, Ohio passed away peacefully at home at the age of 87 with Sue, his loving wife of 50 years, by his side. Glen was born to Lawrence and Mollie (Barnett) DeGelnor. Glen was honorably discharged from the U.S. Marines after serving from 1953 to 1956. He worked in multiple positions for Toledo Edison for 37 years before retiring. Glen was involved in Boy Scouts, Little League, and Mites Hockey. He enjoyed traveling with his wife in their RV and spending winters in Arizona during his later years.

Glen loved spending time with family and is survived by his wife, Susan; children, Mike (Jeri Ann) Lowry, Judi (Dann) Sternsher, and Barbara Riley; and grandchildren, James, Randi, Josh, Danielle, and Katie.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sons, David and Scott DeGelnor.

Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, August 3, 2024 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Maumee, Ohio. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am with the service at 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Maumee, Ohio.
