Gerald Allan Wichman

Gerald Allan Wichman, 78, passed away on the morning of Friday, June 21, 2013 at St. Vincents Palliative Center, Toledo. He was born in Defiance, Ohio on March 31, 1935, the son ofAlvin J. and Caroline B. (Rothbart) Wichman. Jerry served 9 years in the National Guard. He retired from City Beverage in 1998 and as custodian of St. John Lutheran Church in 2010.He was a longtime member of St. John Lutheran Church where he served as elder for 20 years. Survivors are DiAnn Wichman, 2 children Craig Wichman of New York City and CamelaDavis of Hickory NC. and one brother, Russell Wichman of Defiance OH. He was proceeded in death by his parents and a brother Gilbert Wichman. A memorial service will at heldon Thursday, June 27 at St. John Lutheran Church at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. John Lutheran Church.
