Gerald W. Notman

Gerald W. Notman, Sr, 78, of Swanton, Ohio, succumbed to cancer at Hospice of Northwest Ohio on Friday, September 17, 2021. Gerald was born on October 13, 1942 to Guy and Eleanor (Rockstroh) Notman in Massillon, OH, the oldest of five children. Gerald worked as a professional truck driver for over 50 years, and retired from K-Limited Carrier in 2010. Gerald’s hobbies included fishing, hunting, leatherwork, and woodworking. Gerald also enjoyed participating in Rendezvous Reenactments where he met many cherished friends. Gerald is survived by his son, Gerald (Charlotte) W. Notman, Jr; and daughters, Lisa (Greg) Delaney and Teresa (Tim) Sheffer; brothers, Raymond and Lloyd; sisters, Kathy and Georgia; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Gerald was preceded in death by his parents. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at the American Legion Post 265 located at 1105 N Shoop Ave, Wauseon, OH, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.
