Gerald A. McGranahan passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2012 surrounded by his loved ones. He was born at home, July 29, 1939, in Toledo to George McGranahan and Genevieve Flanagan. He attended Libbey High School and served in the U.S. Army. He was stationed in Fort Knox, KY and Germany. He was a member of American Legion Post 531. He was owner and operator of Aid Sewer and Drain and was known for his wit and Irish Blarney. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers Charles and Thomas; his sister MaryJane and his son Kevin. He is survived by his loving partner, Rosemary Moore; brother, Richard (Phyllis); sisters, Virginia (Jim) Hockenberry, Joan (George) Marshall; daughter, Mary (Brian) Gray; sons, Michael and Erin, nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. There will be a memorial mass at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 12, 2012, at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 1842 Airport Hwy. The family will receive visitors beginning at 1:00 pm.
