Gerald Alen Cousino. Age 70, of Cape Coral, Florida, lost his battle with colon cancer on July 14, 2017. He was born on October 20, 1946 in Toledo, Ohio to Stephen A. and Mary T. (Jaco) Cousino.” He was a 1964 graduate of Clay High School and spent four years in the US Navy.” He then went to work for CSX and retired in 2006 after 38 years of service. Gerald was an avid University of Michigan fan and looked forward to college football season. He was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 9963, loved participating in sailboat races with friends in Jacksonville, Florida, getting together with family at reunions in Tennessee, having a beer with friends and Tony Packo parties. Gerald lived his life in a way that if someone tried to say something negative about him, no one would believe it.” He was a wonderful husband, father, uncle, cousin, brother and papa. Gerald is survived by his wife of 33 years, Kimberly; sons, Steven (April) and Michael; granddaughter, Summer Ray Cousino and sister, Joyce Laurell. He was preceded in death by his parents.
