Gerald R. Barnes, Jr.

Gerald R. Barnes Jr. age 59, of Toledo Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2024. He was born on June 15, 1965, in Toledo Ohio to the late Gerald R. and Peggy L. (Hessenious) Barnes.

Gerald graduated in 1983 from DeVilbiss High School and went on to work as a line cook, making some of the best steaks at Uncle John’s, great breakfasts at Charlie’s, and amazing dishes at Secor Grill.

He is survived by sisters, Kathleen Barnes, Brenda Barnes, and Lisa Ball; brothers, Jody (Pattie) Barnes and Christopher (Lisa) Barnes; several nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and a special niece Niecha Hill. Gerald was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Jennifer Barnes.

In accordance with Gerald’s wishes, there will be no formal services at this time.
