George Diaz

Our beloved Dad, Grandpa Pelon Yeppers, passed away on October 9, 2025, in Wauseon, Ohio, surrounded by family.
George was born on January 5, 1952, to Esteban Diaz and Maria Garza Diaz in Taylor, Texas.

George had 4 children, Lydia Diaz, of West Unity, Micheal Diaz, Elizabeth Covarrubias (Andrew), and Marie Torres (Jose) of Archbold, Ohio

George had a passion for his cowboy boots, hat and loved his sweets. He enjoyed sitting outside and humming while swinging in the sunshine. George enjoyed eating fish fry on Wednesday with his daughter & grandchildren.

George is survived by his sisters, Paula Diaz and Rosa Diaz Ramirez; children, Lydia Diaz, Michael Diaz, Elizabeth Covarrubias, and Marie Torres, as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

George was preceded in death by his parents, Esteban and Maria Diaz; sisters, Bertha Vera, Eva Perez, Senaida Molina, Domitila Ramos, Josefina Vallejo, and Lydia Diaz; and brothers, Pedro Diaz Neto Diaz and Guadalupe Diaz.
