Gary E. Knop, Sr.

Gary E. Knop, age 61, passed away unexpectedly at Mercy Health St. Anne hospital in Toledo, Ohio on March 3, 2022. He was born November 21, 1960 to Johnnie Knop and Esther Knop. For most of his working career he was a general laborer, and at the end of his working career he was a security guard. He was a good father, loving husband, and wonderful grandfather that was always willing to make a joke and make you laugh. He is survived by his wife Sharon Knop, children Angela Knop, Gary (Erin) Knop, William (Jessica) Knop, Tabetha Knop (Bryan Briskey, fiance), and Marsha (Brian) Strasbourg; sister Anna Birmingham; brother Frank Knop; nieces and nephews and 11 grandchildren. Preceding him in death is his mother Esther Knop, father Johnnie Knop, and his sister Loveonna Hanley. The celebration of life will be held on April 2, 2022 from 2:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M. in the hall at Woodside Terrace, 7717 Angola Rd. Holland OH, 43528
