Gail Louise (Chamberlain) McKillop, Age 81, of Novi, MI. Passed away on October 3, 2025.

Gail was born March 16, 1944, in Riverside, NJ. 

In 1962, she graduated from Kimball High School in Royal Oak, MI. She was married September 5, 1964, to David McKillop at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Royal Oak – a marriage that lasted 61 years.

Gail ran a well-loved home childcare center where she had a positive influence on the lives of many children. She was an active member of Meadowbrook Congregational Church. Her garden, in Livonia, MI, was well loved. She curated a wide variety of beautiful flowers. Gail was a wonderful artist and expressed herself through water-color painting and pencil drawing.

Gail was preceded in death by her father, Royal Chamberlain and her mother Marjorie (Altorfer) Chamberlain.

Gail is survived by her husband, David; two children, Casey (Jim) and Doug (Annette); her three grandchildren, Ryan, Emma (Jake) and Conner, along with her sisters, Valerie, Patricia and Michele. 

A memorial service will be held on November 1, 2025, at 11 am at Meadowbrook Congregational Church in Novi, MI. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to leave a memorial may donate to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or Meadowbrook Congregational Church in Novi, MI.
