Gail A Manning

July 26, 1938 — September 29, 2019

Gail A. Manning, of Clinton Township, Michigan slipped away peacefully at home on September 29, 2019. Her daughter was by her side. Gail was born to the late Chester and Rhea Yardley in Detroit, Michigan on July 26, 1938. She was sister to Ruth (Mitchell) Wieczorek, Sally (Rowland) Dixon (deceased), and John (Marylu) Yardley (deceased). She was the proud mother to James Kozack (deceased), Mark (Cathy) Kozack, and Dawn (Benjamin) Goldstein, as well as a loving Nana to her grandchildren Ryan, Derrik, James, Jenna, Breanne, Abigail and Noah. Gail was a founding member of the Y Knot Boat Club (1973) and an active participant until she died. She loved to go camping, travel, and be on the water with family and friends. In 1981, Gail left Michigan to be closer to her family in New Jersey. A few years later, she followed her sister Ruth, and her husband Mitch, down to North Carolina to be closer to their brother, John. This is where she lived and worked until her retirement in 2004, after which she returned home to Michigan. Gail loved to socialize and spend time with friends and family alike. While she will be dearly missed, her spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew her. Please join us for a Celebration of Life on November 9th at Brandywine Country Club, 6904 Salisbury Road, Maumee, OH. 43537 11:30ish - if you know Gail, well start just slightly late. Donations can be made to Ohio Living Home Health & Hospice.
