Franklin J Mercer

Franklin Joseph Mercer, was 70 years old when he passed away on December 13, 2021 in Toledo Ohio and was surrounded by his children and grandchildren.Franklin was born on March 30,1951 to Carolyn Prater and Edward Mercer. Franklin attended Libbey High school soon into school he left to serve his country in the Vietnam war from 1969 to 1970,being honorably discharged he started working at Chrysler factory from there became a security guard for different companies till he could no longer work due to health issues. Franklin's life was a hard road at first dealing with many trials he overcame and soon later dedicated his life to God and his family. He is preceded in death by both of his parents and siblings Barb,Eddie,Mike,Linda,Judy and Johnny Mercer also his beloved late wife Debra Mercer. Franklin Mercer is survived by his one living sister Gloria Cardnen and his children John Mercer (Donette) Tina Baughman (Casey) Amber Mercer McLane (Kenneth) Justin Adkins and Amanda Adkins, also survived by his grandchildren Andrea, Aubrey, Tyler, Christina, Cynthia, Serenity, Serena, Maranda, Jaelynn, Chenytra, Nathaniel, Xavier, Yasmin and Justin Jr. and his great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be taken place at Vision Ministry on 1630 Broadway st. Toledo Ohio 43609 Time and Day will soon be told.
