Obituary

Franklin Byron Glambin passed away on Monday, July 27, 2026, at Arbors at Sylvania Nursing Home, Toledo, Ohio He was born on December 25, 1950, in Toledo, Ohio, the son of Francis Arthur and Gloria Jean (Gale) Glambin.

Franklin proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was awarded the Bronze Star for his service. He was a member of VFW Northwood Post 2984.

Franklin worked as a truck driver and owned his own semi for 15 years. After retiring from trucking, he worked alongside his brother, James, at Last Chance Saloon for 10 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed listening to country music.

He is survived by his brothers, James (Betty) Glambin, of Luckey, Ohio, and Kenneth Glambin, of Monroe, Michigan; son, Rockey Chamberlin; girlfriend, Katherine Wilson. Frank was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Frances Scheidemantle; and his brother, Gale Glambin.

In accordance with Franklin's wishes, no services will be held at this time. Burial will take place at Restlawn Cemetery at a later date.
