Frank S. Soucek

Francis "Frank" Soucek, age 71, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Monday, July 4, 2022. Frank was born in Lincoln, NE on September 19, 1951 to Frank & Margaret Soucek. He was the second oldest of his surviving siblings (four brothers, David Soucek (Grace), Michael Soucek (Patty), Mark Soucek, Joseph Soucek, and a sister, Susan [Soucek] Kudrna (Kelly). Frank graduated from Benson High School in Omaha, NE and he later studied at the University of Nebraska (Omaha). Frank spent a majority of his working career with Burger King Corporation as a district and regional manager. On May 15, 1971, he married the love of his life, Diane Julis, in Omaha, NE. He considered this his greatest accomplishment, for he loved and admired her greatly (Forever and a Day). Together they raised three surviving children, daughter, Danielle (Sean) Fritz; daughter, Shannon (Todd) Henderson; and son, Christopher (Abby) Soucek. He was also blessed with eight grandchildren, Michael, Alyssa, Jared, Caden, Claire, Reagan, Beckhem, and Case; and one great-grandchild, Jaxon. Frank enjoyed fishing and vacationing with his family. He had the biggest heart and will be missed by many. Frank loved his family and cared deeply for the people around him. He knew how to create a fun and inviting environment wherever he lived and with everyone he met. At Frank’s request, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Cremation Society of Toledo, 7210 Airport Highway, Holland, OH 43528 on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Association Northwest Ohio Chapter.
