Forest E Wilson

Forest E. Wilson, 92, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Friday, July 17, 2009 at Sunset Village Retirement Home. Mr. Wilson was born on June 20, 1917 in Lawrence, Kansas to the late Floyd and Lucille (Forest) Wilson. He later married Barbara Kohl in Toledo, Ohio, 1965, who precedes him in death.Mr. Wilson spent his youth in Nebraska. He served in World War II and Korea and was awarded the Bronze Star and Silver Star. Forest worked as a Salesman and Sales Manager with the Quaker Oats Company.Survivors include 3 children, Christopher A. (Bobbie) Wilson, Sarah M. (Gerald) Strasbourg, and Beth A. (Mark) Vige; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; a sister, Ruth Warren; and many nieces and nephews.A private memorial service will be held. Donations may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
