HARRISONFlorence JoanFlorence “Joan” Harrison,who just moved to Toledofrom St. Louis, Missouri inMay of this year, died at theEbeid Hospice Residence inSylvania, Ohio, on November23, 2009.Born in Gary, Indiana onDecember 21, 1931, the onlychild of Hoke S. and LulaBelle (Jackson) Bray, Joanattended Purdue Universityand remained an avid Boilermakersfan until her death.She was a devoted wife andmother, an accomplishedbridge player, and an inspiredcook. She will bemissed by many.Joan is survived by her husbandof 59 years, Dean C.Harrison. Also left to mournare three of her four children,Catherine H. Killam,wife of Gregory A. Peterson,Matthew D. Harrison (Stacey),of Yarmouth, MA, andPatricia A. Moehlman, wifeof Mark Moehlman, of Denver,CO.
