Ferial (Fred) J. Hebert1927-2009Ferial J. (Fred) Hebert, age 82 of Walbridge, Ohio, went to his eternal rest on the morning of Friday, September 4, 2009 following an extended illness.Mr. Hebert, formerly of Charles City, IA, was born on June 26, 1927 to the late Meddie and Blanche (Dandurand) Hebert, in Aurora Kansas. He moved with his family to Charles City and graduated from the Immaculate Conception H.S class of 1946, while serving in the U.S. Army in Tokyo, Japan. Following his military service, he attended Loras College in Dubuque, IA. He married Madlyn A. Smith, in June of 1958. They lived for a time in Fremont, Nebraska and LaGrange, Indiana before moving to West Palm Beach, Florida in 1974 (and Delray Beach, FL in 1995). There, he was an A/C & heating contractor and owned his own business. He relocated to Walbridge, OH in 2006, for health reasons.Mr. Hebert is survived by his wife Madlyn (Smith) Hebert; son ,Charles of Bowling Green, OH; daughter, Kathryn (Tim) Rodriguez ; 3 grandchildren, William, Katie, & Bryan Rodriguez of Perrysburg, OH; 3 brothers, Armand Hebert of Eureka, CA, James (Ellie) Hebert of Marion, IA, & Marvin (Gloria) Hebert of Maple Grove, MN; 2 sisters, Maxine Kollman, of Iowa Falls, IA & Clara Hebert of S. St. Paul, MN; 2 sisters-in-law, Cleo Hebert and Mary Ann Hebert-Baldwin both of Charles City; & numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers: Edmer (Eddie) and James (Duane) Hebert, 1 sister: Bernadine (Bernie) Monaghan; 1 sister-in law, Elvina Hebert; 2 brothers-in-law, Fred Kollman and Gordon Monaghan; and 1 nephew, Daniel Hebert.A Memorial Mass will be celebrated @ 10 am, on Saturday, September 12, 2009, in the All Saints Catholic Church 628 Lime City Rd., Rossford, OH.
