Emory "Butch" Foor

Emory Francis “Butch” Foor, age 72, passed away on October 10, 2021 at Ebeid Hospice Residence in Sylvania , Ohio surrounded by the love of his family. Emory was born on August 2, 1949 to the late Rolland Spencer and Betty Lois (LaPoint) Foor. He graduated from Hayes High School in his hometown of Delaware, Ohio. In his spare time, Emory loved to fish, hunt, and watch NASCAR racing and football. He was known to his grandchildren as Pa-Pa. His love for his grandchildren went above and beyond. This is when you would see his happiest moments when he was with them. Emory was a member of the New Testament Church in Cape Coral, Florida. He accepted the Lord Christ as his Savior and found peace in God’s word until the Lord called him home. He is now resting in peace and happiness with the Lord. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Linda (Smith) Foor; son, Eric (Anita) Foor; daughters, Christina Foor and Corina Barro; siblings, Carol Powell, Irvin “Bud” Foor; grandchildren, Hannah, Stephanie, Tiffany, Ciara , Emily, and Savana. Emory was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Emory Francis Foor, Jr.
