Emily Lyn Ovesney

Emily Lyn Ovesney, age 34, passed away on December 16, 2025, in Toledo, Ohio. She was born on January 31, 1991, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Emily was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend whose warmth and spirit touched the lives of many. Her greatest joy was her son, Roman, who recently turned six and was the center of her world.

She is survived by her beloved son, Roman; her mother, Jennifer, and Paul Lignoski; her father, Dennis Ovesney Jr., and Tina; her brother, Dennis, and her cherished nieces, Amelia and Gracie; her stepbrother, Peter; her stepsister, Vanessa; her grandpap, Larry Miorelli; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Emily was preceded in death by her grandmother, Maryann Miorelli.

Emily graduated from Keystone Oaks High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and went on to attend Arizona State University.

Funeral arrangements will be private. A memorial service to celebrate Emily’s life will be held at a later date in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
