Edna Leona Williams

Edna “Lonie” Leona Williams, age 87, passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Flower Hospital in Sylvania, Ohio.

She was born on March 23, 1938, to Kenneth and Mildred (Taylor) Nighswander, in Sylvania, Ohio. She was the oldest of three children.

She Graduated from Sylvania Burnham High School in May 1956. She worked at Toledo Edison before starting her family. She married Kenneth Williams in July 1957.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Mildred Nighswander; her husband of 66 years, Kenneth Williams, and grandson, Robert Williams.

She is survived by her children, James (Constance) Williams, Linda (Brian) Sattelberg, Audrey (Lonnie) Hobbs, and Robin (Jeffery) Robinson; 17 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; siblings, Violet (Mike) Hogan, and Kenneth (Marilyn) Nighswander, and many nieces and nephews.

Edna asked that there not be a formal funeral service. The family is planning a Celebration of Life for Edna. The date has not been set at this time.
