Eddie R. Taylor

Eddie R Taylor, 76, of Fort Pierce, Florida, passed away Saturday October 29, 2022. He was born November 18, 1945 in Lochgelly, West Virginia to Daisy and Floyd “Chip” Taylor.

Eddie formerly resided in Toledo and Rossford, Ohio for 54 years. Eddie loved to keep busy, whether helping family and friends with projects or tinkering in his shed. He enjoyed regaling family and friends with the crazy antics he got into in his younger years. Through the years Eddie worked for Cargill, Inc., Mix Enterprises and retired from Kuhlman Corp. after 30 years of service.

His memory lives on with his loving wife of 33 years, Paula “P.J.” (Russell); son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Jennifer Taylor; granddaughters, Amber (Jake Thompson) Taylor, Sarah (Matt) Burgess, Hannah (Liam) Healy; great grandchildren, Dane, Noah, Levi, Paizlee, and John.

Survivors include brothers and sisters, George (Linda), Jerry (Mary), Patricia “Patty” Myrice, Virginia “Ginger” (Dale) Jones, Gary “Butch” (Kathy); sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Marsha Taylor, Rose (Herb) Meglitsch, Daniel “Danny” (Kim) Dent, Laura (Manuel) Bartling, Tammy (Bart) Deitsch, Tracy (Don) Rist, Cindy (Joe) Kutchenriter, Cheryl (Jim) Welter, Michelle (Dave) Calopietro, Steve (Becca) Zawodni, Kim (John) Sherburne; mothers-in-law, Donna Korn and Ann Russell, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Floyd “Sonny” and Raymond “Cecil”; sister, Ellen Louise “Sis” Morton; fathers-in-law, Melvyn Russell and George Korn and fur babies, Mr. White and Puddles.

Services will be private. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 27th at 9936 Frankfort Rd, Holland, OH 43528 from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
