Duane Samuel Hammett

Duane Hammett, beloved father of 2 daughters, passed away peacefully on 3/23/24 at the age of 71, surrounded by family and loved ones.

Born on 6/1/1952 in Toledo, Ohio, Duane pursued a degree in telecommunications and worked for Dana corp. for over 20 years. He was passionate about Star Trek, The Beatles, Ham radios, and coaching softball and basketball for his 2 young daughters. He was known for being a calm, quiet, and kind individual.

Duane will be dearly missed by his family. He leaves behind two daughters (Elizabeth & Abigail), and two grandchildren (Catcher & Gabriel) who will cherish his memory forever. Duane's wife (Deborah Hammett) preceded his death and he will be reunited in eternal love with her.
