Duane Edward Curtis, Sr.

Duane E. Curtis Sr age 61 of Toledo passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 7, 2022. He was born to Alfred and Jacqueline (Morningstar) Curtis on August 19, 1960. Duane was a member of First St. John Lutheran Church, he graduated from Clay High School and was employed at Ply Gem. Duane loved spending time with friends and family. He really enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the birds. If he was watching TV, Hallmark and Lifetime were his favorites. He could have a conversation with anyone and would help with anything, with no hesitation. He had a love for food, any food and was known as the garbage disposal because nothing would go to waste with him around. Duane was a kindhearted man who will be greatly missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing him. Duane is survived by his Son, Duane Curtis Jr; Daughter, Tiffany (Frank) Herciga; Grandchildren, Hailey, Devin, Austin and Ryan; Brother, Donald Curtis; Brother in Law, Charles Fausak; many Nieces and Nephews. He is preceded in death by his Parents; Sisters, Brenda Fausak and Tina Curtis; Brother, Ronald Curtis. Burial and Celebration of life will be held in the summer of 2022.
