Douglas A. Henry

Douglas A. “Doug” Henry, 61, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on January 3, 2026. He was born on September 23, 1964, to Richard and Barbara (Bruzda) Henry.

Doug lived a simple, hardworking life and spent many years working as a forklift driver. He took pride in his work and found joy in the everyday things that made life feel full. One of his greatest pleasures was cooking his famous chicken paprikash, which he confidently declared was the best, and to be honest, he wasn’t wrong. Doug also had a love for pizza piled high with cheese and never missed a chance to decorate for every holiday, big or small.

Doug is survived by his father, Richard Henry; his brother, Mark (Kelly) Henry; his nieces, Ashley (Erik) Stinson and April (Brian) Mata; his great-nephews, William and Ethan; and his great-niece, Scarlett.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Henry.

An intention mass will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 5153 N. Summit Street, Toledo, Ohio 43611, on February 1, 2026 at 11:00AM. All family and friends are welcome to attend.
