Douglas A. Fuller

Douglas (Doug) Alan Fuller, 55, of Toledo, Ohio, lost his battle with cancer Saturday, May 29, 2021 at the Promedica Ebeid Hospice when the Lord called him home. He was born July 27, 1965 in Toledo to Robert “Bob” and Dorothy “Dot” Fuller. Doug graduated from Rogers H.S. in 1983. Doug was an avid bowler for many years. He was a member of Club 16 and the Moose Lodge. Doug was known for his heart of gold. He had a deep love for his family, the outdoors, motorcycles, boats, and cars. He was a jack of all trades. At 16, Doug worked at Babcock Dairy with his dad and brother-in-law, Bob. He started working at Early’s Amoco at the age of 17 until he opened his own auto mechanic shop, Doug’s Automotive, in 1997. Doug is greatly missed by his sons, Jordan and Jacob; granddaughter Mia; parents Bob and Dot (Rober) Fuller; sisters Lynne (Bob) Brubaker, Pam Tatkowski; brother Jeff (Lisa) Fuller; nieces and nephews, Jamie (Dave) Evans, Kelly Brubaker, Jason (Erin) Tatkowski, Dani (Eric) Rice, Joshua (Rachelle) Below, Erin (Rob) Davenport, Tiffany Fuller, and Derek Fuller; great nieces and nephews, Dylan and Kyle Evans, Jake and Scarlett Tatkowski, Alex Relyea, Ash and Ali Rice, Korbin, Jax, and Addie Below, Dawson and Bekah Davenport, and Tristan Jackson; extended family Brittany Bailey, Jamie Richard, Autumn (Juan) Chapa, and their families; and many friends. Doug was preceded in death by his brother-in-law John Tatkowski and great niece Miriah Tatkowski. A Celebration of Life “Open House” will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021 from 1-3 at Olivet Lutheran Church, 5840 Monroe St., Sylvania, OH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lynne Brubaker to help with expenses. The family would like to thank the staff at Promedica Ebeid Hospice for their care and love during Doug’s final weeks.
