Dorothy Maria Vallejo-Barker

Dorothy Maria Vallejo- Barker passed away October 24, 2010 at The University of Toledo Medical Center after suffering a long illness. She was born March 30, 1954 to Marin Vallejo and Dorothy Akeman (Weott) in Toledo, Ohio. Dorothy spent several years as a production worker at Y.Z. Enterprises but her most memorable work was accomplished as a loving wife, mother, and best friend. She will live on forever in each of the lives that she touched.Dorothy is survived by her husband, Craig Barker; children: Kimberley Lewis, Jeremy Howell, and Jessica Barker, her finest creations. Dorothy left behind many brothers and sisters; Joe Vallejo, Victor Vallejo, Michael Vallejo, Rick Akeman, Gilbert Akeman, Jenny Akeman (Harp), Jennifer Vallejo, Madeline Vallejo-Welch, Jennifer Volker, Randy Vallejo, Deanna Constanzo, and Melanie Vallejo.A memorial service will be help for her at a later date and will be published in the Toledo Blade.
