Dorothy Fleszar

Fleszar, Dorothy L.Dorothy Fleszar, age 85, of Maumee,OH., passed away December 16, 2010. She was a resident of Elizabeth Scott Assisted Living Nursing Care Center, in Maumee, OH, since moving from her home in Trenton, MI in 2001. She was born October 15, 1925, in Horton Bay, MI and graduated valedictorian from Boyne City High School, in 1943.In 1981, Dorothy retired from The Ford Motor Company, Dearborn, MI, as an executive secretary.She loved to travel, both home and abroad, was an avid reader and bridge player. She was a member of the choir at St. Timothys Church in Trenton for many years.Dorothy was predeceased by her loving husband, Edward J. Fleszar, of Trenton, sister Anna Bowman, formerly of Gaylord, MI. Dorothy is survived by her twin sister Helen(Clifford)McGeorge, of Boyne City, daughter Kathryn(Elton)Woodward of Tallahassee,FL, sons Charles(Judy)Brown of Perrysburg,OH, and Michael Brown of Weston,FL.Graveside services will be at Michigan Memorial Park, Flat Rock,MI on June 4, 2011, at noon.
