Dorothy Agnes Conroy

Dorothy Agnes Conroy, 96, of Toledo, Ohio passed away September 27, 2022 at home. She was born August 15, 1926 to Daniel and Elizabeth (Kelly) Larkin in Campus, Illinois. After teaching in a one room school for 2 years, she married William A. Conroy on June 7, 1947. Through their 67 years of marriage, they lived in several communities in Illinois, Nebraska, and Missouri. Dorothy was employed in the accounting field.

Following retirement, Dorothy and her husband Bill spent a season working part-time and enjoying the ski slopes at Winter Park, Colorado. She celebrated her 90th birthday by zip lining in Branson.

Survivors include her son, Dennis Conroy of Kirbyville, MO; daughters, Mary Conroy and Dottie Conroy; granddaughter Rachael Conroy, and great grandson Declan Conroy, all of Toledo, OH. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sisters, Mary Larkin and Margaret Prombo, and her brother Joseph Larkin.

Private services are planned for a later date. Internment will be at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, MO.
