Obituary

Our mother, Donna Marie Luderman, of Waterville, Ohio, passed away on October 30, 2026, in Perrysburg, Ohio, at the age of 83. She joined in peace her husband, Darrell, of 49 years; her 2 sons, David Scott and Delbert Lee; her grandson, Eric Dennis Smith; and great-grandson, Landon Christopher Hall.

Donna was born and raised in Ohio with her parents, Delbert O. and Violet G. Collins (Meeker) and brother, Eugene.

Donna shared cherished memories of her time as a young girl, recalling the days spent horseback riding through the quiet woods with her friends in the Oak Openings region. As a young divorced mother of three, she embraced the rustic charm of barn life, and a passion for the outdoors, passing those cherished experiences down to her 3 young children. Later on she and Darrell crossed paths while serving together in the wedding party of a mutual friend. They were married and she moved back to the AW district with her 3 teenagers to raise her growing family in Monclova. She loved her new kitchen and made good use of it, serving groups of students a hot breakfast before getting on the bus was one of her favorite memories. Keeping herself moving with long hours and tough jobs, holidays, volunteering, scouting crafts and camp trips through the years. She showed her love and pride in each new baby announcement by making quilts for each of her great-grandchildren, after her retirement from Anthony Wayne schools, in 2004. Her favorite summers were at the lake with her family and friends, she would never shy away from helping plan a meal or a big celebration. She was a true scout leader who did her best with what she had and was ready to get people together for anything. Darrell and Donna wintered livestock and their daughter's horses with a full house of babies and teenagers for a bit. They shared experience and knowledge throughout the years of hard work and independence with the young and eager.

Donna is now resting in the arms of our almighty God and many beloveds, now eternally reunited.

She is survived by her brother, Eugene; 3 daughters, Rebecca Bachman, Connie Pagan, Cathy Snyder; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and many God children.

We feel love and support from the community, friends and family. We appreciate your continued prayers. We will share memories, her jokes and recipes for years to come and plan to plant more Oak trees in her honor. No formal services will be available.

Our parents will rest together on the Maumee River at Highland Memory Gardens, of Waterville, Ohio.
