Donna L. Kidwiler

October 21, 1950 — July 2, 2022

Donna Kidwiler (McMullen), 71, peacefully went for a walk with Jesus, Saturday, July 2, 2022. She was born in Toledo, OH to Roscoe (Bud) McMullen and Lois Gable. In addition to her husband, Johnnie Kidwiler, she was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Danny McMullen, her sister Patricia (Greg) Pollick, her brother Richard (McMullen) and her step-mother Virginia McMullen (May). She is survived by her two children, Peggy (Scott) Snyder, and Tom (TJ) Maran Jr., her sisters, Dianna (AJ) Jackson, Deborah Pirooz and her brother, George McMullen. Donna was the best NANA to her three grandchildren; Michael Maran, Niccole (Austin) Sargent, and Jacob Haughn and a great-nana to Skylar, Carson, AJ, Isaiah and soon to be born, Jeremiah. Donna loved going to “The Ridge” on the weekends to dance with her beloved husband, John. There was not one line dance they didn’t know, and they were graceful and always complimented each other, especially on the dance floor. Her favorite time with John was when she went on the road with him in his truck. She enjoyed riding through mountains, the peace and serenity of nature and was also just as happy to be in her rocking chair on her porch. She was very creative in her hobbies of baking, decorating cakes, crochet, needlepoint, cross-stitch and her favorite floral arrangements. Throughout the years, she took great pride raising her two children, volunteering at their school, and then watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow, attending as many school programs as she could and enjoying every hug, every kiss, every peek-a-boo, and any and every snuggle she could get from them. Donna past away very peacefully, that we can be grateful for. She was recently diagnosed with lung cancer, and brave enough to begin the battle. She recently spoke, just before her treatments started, “I am ready to go, my body is in pain, and I have helped everyone who has needed me.” We will always need her. She was ready to “take a walk with Jesus,” to spend eternity with John and their loyal pet, Caliber. Together, they will again be able to climb into his big rig and ride the mountains, enjoy the sunrise, sunset and all of God’s creations, without any pain. She will always be watching and smiling over us. She will be forever loved and missed. The family will have a memorial to celebrate her life at a later date.
