Donna Rae Christian

Donna Rae Christian passed away January 4th, 2026 at the age of 63. She was born April 24th, 1962 in Bowling Green, Ohio to Ray and Helen (Feehan) Birtcher of Napoleon, Ohio. She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Don Christian. She had two daughters, Erin Cheesbro and Morgen (Jeff) Crawford. Her grandchildren are Jayden Nelson, Jared Nelson, Jazlyn Nelson, Jenzlea Cheesbro, and Jordyn Cheesbro. She had three siblings, Dave (Betty) Birtcher, Dan Birtcher, and Denine (Mike) Cramer.

Donna was a graduate of Napoleon High School and also went to Four County vocational school where she studied Horticulture. Donna was a loving home maker. Although she worked many jobs through her years, her most rewarding experience was taking care of the friends and family in her life. One of her favorite times in life was living in South Carolina while being a Marine wife. She loved making knitted hats for the ones she loved.

Donna had a “hippy soul” captured by her fashion and persona. She always had a smile on her face and was kind to everyone she met. Music was an important part of Donna’s life and she enjoyed going to see live music whenever possible. One of her favorite bands was Def Leppard, who she saw in concert on more than one occasion.

Donna was always up for a good time. She enjoyed the outdoors, camping, canoeing and always ready for new adventures. She enjoyed nature, especially beautiful sunflowers. Donna was very fond of spending time with friends. Her favorite animal was panda bears and she got to see them in Toledo and in Washington DC. She loved her dogs and she would take them everywhere with her.

Donna loved Jesus and looked for opportunities to explore and strengthen her faith in God. She enjoyed reading the Bible and attending church services. She was radiant with God’s love. Donna was a pure spirit whose kindness was unsurpassed. She will truly be missed by all that knew her. The world is now a slightly dimmer place without her light in it.
