Donna Barker

Donna Regina Rita Pellton, Anderson, Barker went home to her savior at age 81, on January 31st at home. She was born on August 26, 1940 to her parents Gilbert and Celesta Pelton in their home located in Cygnet, Ohio. Donna attended Bloomdale High School. She married William Leo Anderson(deceased) and together they had four children. She married Kenneth Barker(deceased) and was with him until he preceded her in death. Also preceding Donna in death where her siblings Richard Pelton, Anne Sheeks, Arvilla(Jo) Weiker, Donna is survived by Louise Pelton and Ruthie Beck Cassidy and several nieces and nephews and her children; Sharie Baze Johnson(Charles deceased), William Anderson III (Alley), Roy Anderson and Lanette Kleppinger Harrison (Duane deceased) and over a dozen grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was greatly loved by her family and her loss will be felt amongst them all greatly. Donna was a very kindhearted woman with a deep-rooted faith in her savior and was well known for her nurturing and caring ways. She was the type of woman that would drop everything to assist someone in need even if it meant that her tasks at home would be delayed. She was well known for sitting with people in the hospital and assisting someone who was mending from surgery at their home. She was a selfless woman who truly believed that you got out of life what you put into it. She was a role model for anyone that knew and loved her. Her kind heart and caring ways will be cherished for years to come by those that had the pleasure of knowing her or calling her family. Even the nurses and aides that assisted in her care over the last several years came to love her and cherish her. Donna in life loved many things but some of her favorite things to do where camping, having campfires, picnics. She had a green thumb and loved to garden. She lived a kind of farm life and loved all animals from goats to horses and cats and dogs. Her greatest loves of all was her family, music, and God. Services will be held on March 13, 2022 at 8201 Angola Rd. Holland Ohio, 43528 at 3pm The greeting and pictures will be from 3 to 4 with the Celebration of life service from 4 to 5pm followed by the meal.
