Donald L. Malone

Donald L. Malone, of Swanton, Ohio passed away on July 15, 2023 with his family at his side. He was born on October 31, 1953 to Marion and Mary (Morse) Malone. Don was a graduate of Springfield High School and was a maintenance man at Sunset House in Ottawa Hills for over 20 years. When he wasn’t working he enjoyed checking out local car shows and spending time with his family. Don will be fondly remembered as a goofball who enjoyed the simple things in life.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Malone. Don is survived by his daughters, Heather (Sean) Murphy and Renee (Shawn) White; grandchildren, Cheyenne, Jade, Allison, Alex, and Gavin; sister, Linda; twin brother, Dean; and brothers, Darryl and Guy (Robin).

A Celebration of Don’s Life will be held on August 5, 2023 at the Springfield Township Hall, 7617 Angola Rd, Holland, Ohio, from noon until 3:00 pm. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staffs at Elara Caring Hospice and Swanton Valley Healthcare and Rehab Center for their kindness and care.
