Donald "Donnie" Wesley Parks, Jr.

Donald "Donnie" Wesley Parks Jr., age 54, of Toledo, Ohio was born on September 26, 1968 to Donald W. Parks Sr. and Virginia E. Parks (Guyton). Donnie passed away unexpectedly on July 17, 2023.

He leaves behind his sons, Andrew (Nicole) Parks and Ryan Parks; grandchildren, Kyleigh, Lillian, Wesley, Jaxon, Kaedon and Ryder; siblings, David A. Parks, Donna R. Everitt (Parks) and Christine L. (Rance) Papenfuse (Parks); a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He attended Woodward High School, and worked at various restaurants and Dupont Co. until he was no longer able to work. He had a passion for animals, especially his two cats that he loved dearly. He was a big Steelers fan, loved music, and was always tinkering with electronics. He had a contagious laugh, and was always being goofy and entertaining his loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, niece, Jerrica Papenfuse, and some aunts, uncles, and cousins. Donald was closest with his brother David, who he lived with for the last 10 years. He was also close with his nephew, Eric Evearitt, who he loved very much and was best friends with.

A celebration of life will be announced on Facebook to all who wish to show their respects.
