Dianne M. Mcbride

Dianne M McBride, age 82, passed away on March 18, 2025, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Ebeid Hospice Center in Sylvania, Ohio. She was born on August 2, 1942, to Mary K. Welter, in Toledo, Ohio.

She was a graduate of Harriet Whitney High School. Diane worked at Dresch Dental lab in her younger years. After she met her husband Clifford, Diane became a stay-at-home mom for many years. When she ventured back into the work force, she was employed at The Toledo Motel, The Residence Inn and two locations of The Red Roof Inn working in housekeeping and laundry.

Dianne was a strong, independent woman who loved her family. Their needs always came before her own and she was the heart and soul of her family. She enjoyed crocheting; Diane even made some of her children's clothes and Halloween costumes when they were young.

Warmer weather activities were her preference; especially gardening, planting flowers, feeding the birds, ducks, and squirrels.

She was proceeded in death by her mother, Mary K. Welter, and her husband, Clifford V. McBride. Diane is survived by her daughter, Kelly (Richard) Cortez; sons, Scott (Shannon) McBride, and Derek McBride; grandchildren, Dillon McBride, Shelby McBride, Brett Layman, Brady McBride, and Erin McBride; brother-in-law, Lee McBride; niece, Shelly McBride; and great niece, Amy McBride.

Graveside Services will be at The Ottawa Hills Cemetery Chapel of Peace, 4210 Central Avenue, Toledo, Ohio 43606, on Monday, June 16, 2025, at 11:30 am.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of Dianne M McBride, who touched our lives in so many ways.
