Dianne M. Duchene

Dianne Marie DuChene, 61, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 9, 2016 at St. Annes Hospital, Toledo, Ohio. She was born in St. Clair Community Hospital, St. Clair, MI on December 21, 1954 to George and Shirley (Kornmeier) Duchene. She attended Regina Coeli School through 8th grade and graduated from Whitmer High School in 1972. She worked in an accountants office until 1977 when she moved to Colorado, where she lived for the next thirty years. While there she worked in the restaurant industry and as a barmaid. She is survived by her parents; sisters, Cheri DuChene and Sandra (Mark ) Birr; brothers Charles (Sue) and David DuChene; aunts, Barbara Beauchamp and Margaret DuChene; five nephews; one niece; seven great-nieces, four great-nephews; several cousins, and fiance, Jeffrey Kwasniak, all much loved. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Dernard and Aileene DuChene, Elizabeth M. Price, and John Kornmeier; nepehw, Damon DuChene; niece, Crystal Birr; aunt, Mary Fernandez; uncles, Charles DuChene, Harold Fernandez, and Richard Beauchamp; cousins, Sandra, Mary and Genare Fernandez and Bobby Beauchamp. A Celebration of Life Memorial and Luncheon will be held for family and friends on Sunday, June 26 at American Legion Post #192, 620 Temperance Road, Temperance, MI from 11:30 am to 3 pm.
