Desseray Storm Myers

Desseray Storm Myers passed away peacefully on March 25, 2021 in Sylvania Ohio, surrounded by love and light. She was born in Wilmington, North Carolina on February 25, 1991 to her Mama, Charity Collins and biological father Chris Senft. At the age of one Randy Murphy became her daddy. Desseray grew up in small town Richlands, North Carolina. She attended Richlands Elementary Trexler Middle School and Richlands High School. She lived her life much like a hummingbird caught in a windstorm never staying still for too long and always ready for the next adventure. Desseray is preceded in death by her great-grandparents Jerry and Tess Clark, her Papaw Rat Murphy and cousin Jeffrey Jones. She is survived by her daughter Lilliana Star Johansen, the absolute joy and light of her life; her mother and Stepdad Charity and Ricky Collins; her Daddy and Stepmom Randy and Jennifer Murphy; maternal grandparents Karen and Lyle Douglas; paternal grandparents Joyce Murphy and Larry Dail; biological siblings from all sides Dakota Murphy, Brooke Murphy, Randy Murphy Jr, Ayden Murphy all of North Carolina, Ashley Skinner and Derick Lee Senft from Florida, as well as bonus siblings Marisa Long, Maranda Dennis and MacKenzie Heath; her Aunts, Uncles, and 14 cousins. Also to note extended family John and Tonia Brotzman and their children Brittany and Brendon who were important in Desseray's life, as well as Frank and Suzie Collins, and their family who accepted Desseray and loved her like their own. The family will have a Celebration of Life where Desseray grew up next week.
