Dennis G. Stinehelfer

Dennis G. Stinehelfer, age 72, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away on January 4, 2026. Dennis was born on November 25, 1953, in Toledo, Ohio, the son of Orva and Virginia (Mosher) Stinehelfer. He graduated from Lake High School and later married Darlene J. Dodd, with whom he shared 50 years of marriage.

Dennis worked for the railroad before going on to own and operate his own dump truck business. He was a true jack of all trades and was always willing to help anyone who needed it. Dennis enjoyed gardening, spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was known for his strong work ethic, kindness, and dedication to his family.

Left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Darlene J. (Dodd) Stinehelfer; children, Angela (James) Harrison, and Jeremy (Mandi) Stinehelfer; grandchildren, Bryce (Cassidy) McComb, Marah, Maci, and Crew Stinehelfer; one great-grandson, Brooks McComb; siblings, Orva Stinehelfer, Jr., Marge (Dale) Davis, and Madeline Stinehelfer. Dennis was preceded in death by both parents, Orva and Virginia (Mosher) Stinehelfer. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In honor of Dennis’ wishes, no formal services will be held at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
