Dennis Schwamberger

Dennis Schwamberger passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family.

Dennis was born October 10, 1940 to Grover and Virginia (Miezwicki) Schwamberger, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his son, Todd, and his special companion, Ramona "Kay" Johns. Kay was a cherished part of Dennis's life, and their companionship brought him much happiness over the years.

Dennis is remembered by his children, Tad (Gerri), Tim (Cindy), Tami (Larry) Smoot, and Troy (Shelly). He was a proud grandfather to multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by his siblings, Diane Cline and Bruce "Boots" (Sharon), along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Dennis dedicated more than 40 years of service to Brush Wellman in Elmore, Ohio, before retiring in 2003.

Outside of work, he was a devoted fan of dirt track racing and spent countless hours attending races throughout the region. He proudly served his community as a volunteer firefighter for the Millbury Fire Department and enjoyed playing softball during his younger years. In his retirement, Dennis found pleasure in dinners at the Oregon Inn and regular visits to Maumee Bay State Park, where he especially enjoyed watching the deer.

The family takes comfort in knowing that Dennis is reunited with those who went before him, including his parents, son Todd, and Kay. The family would also like to extend their appreciation for the care of The Landings of Oregon and Hospice Care 360.
