Dennis Lee Drazic, aged 71, formerly of Adrian, Michigan passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at his home in Holland, Ohio. He was born on October 30, 1948 in St. Louis Missouri to the late Franjo “Frank” and Alice (Lee) Drazic. He is survived by his three sons Jacob Drazic (Mark Rady) of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, Anthony (Stephanie) Drazic of Holland, Ohio and Steven Drazic of Toledo, Ohio. Hi is also survived by his three treasured grandchildren who he was so proud of Madison, Anthony, Jr., and Jillian Drazic, his step-sister Evelyn (Ulrich) Kahlow of Scarsdale, New York and their son Jon, and also many cousins. He graduated from Clinton High School in Clinton, MI, where he was a football and baseball all-star. He then proudly served his county in The United States Navy during the Vietnam War and was awarded The National Defense Service Medal and The Republic of Vietnam Service Medal. He retired after 30 years from Delphi and General Motors, always a proud union member. He was a loving father and grandfather who enjoyed helping strangers in the community with thoughtful and kind acts. He loved to watch all sports and was a competitive athlete who played in volleyball, baseball, softball and bowling leagues and also enjoyed playing golf and tennis. He loved the Detroit Lions and University of Michigan Football, Go Blue!! He had a brilliant mind filled with science, inventions, history and always had a desire to learn more. He had an unmatched love and passion for any and all classic movies and cinematography. Some of his favorites were westerns, Ben Hur, The Ten Commandments and The Greatest Story Ever Told. There will be a gathering to celebrate his life at the Lake House on Saturday, June 13, 2020 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers or donations he would want and encourage everyone to do something kind for someone in the community.
